Linea di selezione PASAM

Technology, control and speed.

The PASAM warehouse is the meeting point between work in the fields and market requirements. Incoming product is identified, recorded and directed to separate lines for organic and conventional lemons.

After washing with water and brushing, optical sorting and sizing systems separate the fruit by size and characteristics. Quality control continues through packing and pallet preparation, allowing us to ship within just a few hours.

Ape nera siculaSlow Food Presidium

Sicilian black bee

PASAM Agrumi works with Carlo Amodeo, a Sicilian beekeeper who has promoted and protected the Sicilian black bee, now recognized as a Slow Food Presidium.

This breed inhabited Sicily for millennia and came close to extinction in the 1970s. The partnership reinforces PASAM’s connection with its territory and its love for Sicily.
